I remember this tragic day like it was yesterday, I was the first reporter @CKNW on scene, I was shocked she could be murdered in broad daylight just steps from the park’s entrance and nobody saw anything in such a busy area every year at this time I think of her @sandyjamesplan

Wendy Ladner was one of my neighbours as was her brother. She was murdered in Vancouver's Pacific Spirit Park on Friday April 3, 2009. I well remember that night. Someone knows something, & the family deserves to have answers for this active wife & mother. vancouver.citynews.ca/2026/04/02/hig…

I'm happy because my newsroom friends at Coast Reporter are happy. We'll miss them on Slack and at company events, but will bump up my personal Sunshine Coast visit plans to get a fix of this amazing crew.
