the way to do this is:
1. stretch as far as you can comfortably.
2. imagine/feel your subtle body stretching to the perfect posture.
3. hold this for 15 to 30 seconds - mentally and physically
over time, your physical body will match your subtle body.
source: did this at 36 after one year of doing this. never was able to get perfect posture with force (started at age 7).

Forcing your fascia to stretch is causing a recoil effect that keeps you in chronic pain. I’m unlearning this the hard way.
If your self worth was predicated upon how fast, strong, or powerful you were (ex-athletes/entrepreneurs) then your fascia is protecting you from you.
And chances are, you’ve been beating the fuck out of your fascia to the point where now it defaults to defending itself (you, the organism) and until you rewrite this script in your CNS (which innervates the fascia) you’ll just keep getting tighter.
