Way @RahulGandhi and @INCIndia’s critics are celebrating trash @Ram_Guha has written about Gandhi family reveals their intellectual bankruptcy. Guha suffers from pathological hatred towards Gandhis that is reaffirmed in recent trash. Period. @SupriyaShrinate @VineetPunia

Mr @KapilSibal is absolutely right. It is highly condemnable. But why selective outrage? Did he ever hold a press conference when during @AITCofficial rule opposition leaders and workers were hounded? Did he feel ashamed over RG Kar rape and murder and subsequent cover up?

.@DrAmarSinghINC was selected in MBBS under open merit category and not on the basis of his caste. He has all along been a brilliant officer and public representative. Above all gentle to the core while holding many powerful positions. @kamilamarsingh
Chandigarh Politales@CHDPolitales

One of the things I admire most about Dr. Amar Singh is that despite coming from a Scheduled Caste family and representing a reserved constituency, he never built his politics around victimhood, division, or identity alone. He never tried to project himself as the sole messiah of any community. He never asked for votes by creating fear. He never divided Punjabis into one caste versus another. Instead, he chose a different path. A doctor. An IAS officer. A public servant. A two-time Member of Parliament. He earned respect not because of his surname or caste, but because of his work, education, integrity, and commitment to the people. At a time when many politicians build their entire careers around identity politics, Dr. Amar Singh has always believed that Punjab progresses when Punjabis move forward together. His politics has never been about “my community versus your community.” It has always been about stronger villages, better opportunities for youth, support for farmers, and a stronger Congress organization. Perhaps that is why people from every section of society trust him. In a political culture that often rewards noise and division, Dr. Amar Singh reminds us that humility, hard work, and unity still matter. He represents a community with pride, but he serves the entire constituency with equal dedication. That is leadership. #DrAmarSingh #PunjabCongress #FatehgarhSahib

Time @Phogat_Vinesh retires gracefully. In Paris Olympics she was disqualified for being overweight. She was still ‘rewarded’ back home as if she actually won Gold. She became MLA out of sympathy. Now she wants to wrestle again. Can’t have the cake and eat it too.

Why only politicians, what about bureaucrats? Majority of them MAKE HUNDRED TIMES more money than politicians. Politicians get limited time, bureaucrats get lifetime.
Sheela Bhatt शीला भट्ट@sheela2010

There is something common amongst @DKShivakumar, @CMMadhyaPradesh , @revanth_anumula @Bhupendrapbjp All of them have earned big money from real estate businesses before becoming Chief Minister. Land dealings and politics go hand in hand. If you study carefully, if compared to 70s and 80s, now more and more politicians are entering active politics after making money in building construction, real estate development, land dealings or turnkey infrastructure projects. Most of these MPs, MLAs and Municipal councillors have made their first million from ‘building line.’ Then they expand to many other sectors to make billions. Then, to protect their billions they join active politics. Out of 28 State Chief ministers it will be easier to count who has never earn or their family has not earned money out of construction business. Barring few exceptions it’s likely that one family member of current lot of CMs will be found deep into land dealings or construction. @CMMadhyaPradesh Mohan Yadav’s family remains in news for their ongoing hyper real estate business activities. @DKShivakumar is extraordinarily rich. He has earned from real estate, too. It will be interesting to watch ‘big time builder’ turned politician now leading the great state of Karnataka. In his nomination form before @ECISVEEP @DKShivakumar has filed list of his companies involved in construction business. Have a look. myneta.info/Karnataka2023/…

If Nitin Nabin can become the BJP National President, Kewal Dhillon can always become the Punjab President. Much ado about nothing.

Rana ki toh baat hi aur hai …. Except losing Khadoor Sahab parliamentary election in 2009, @RanaGurjeetS has never lost an election. Even that “defeat” was caused by internal sabotage. Sultanpur Lodhi in 2022 which he made his son @RanaInderParta1 to win is another example.

Rana Gurjit Singh pulls off a thumping win for Congress in Kapurthala MC polls. One of the rare setbacks the party had been able to impose on otherwise rampaging AAP wins.

Feel sad for ‘still born’ celebrations of some self-loathing Indian liberals who were playing it up like Pakistan had declared itself a secular country. ⁦⁦@sabeer

Bullshit. Hindu Nationalism didn’t exist during freedom struggle. In fact it was a late phenomenon much after partition. An overwhelming majority of Muslims never supported Congress. For them Congress was “communal Hindu” outfit. They supported Muslim League.
SANJAY HEGDE@sanjayuvacha

"The BJP and Jinnah are not cause and effect. They are mirror images. Jinnah needed Hindu nationalism to mobilise Muslims. Hindutva needed Jinnah and Pakistan to mobilise Hindus. They co-created each other. And the moment Pakistan was born, Jinnah's defensive minority politics became majority tyranny. The mirror was complete."
