What is about to happen in the UK is a direct consequence of Labour losing the Muslim vote. It was painfully obvious after losing the Gorton and Denton seat by such a wide margin that they would have to do everything in their power to get that vote back. Muslims have a turnout rate far higher than the rest of the population, and is concentrated in inner city areas where Labour seats are usually situated. The way Labour have dealt with the war in Iran was the first example of this. Labour have not allowed strikes from our airbases against a regime that slaughters its own people and was well on the way to making a nuclear bomb. The second was the grovelling that went on, over and over again, including at Iftar events held by the government, stating that we are not helping the US in any way. Thirdly, our sovereign territory itself has been bombed…still nothing. Standard protocol at an absolute minimum would be to strike back at the infrastructure that would be used to do this again. Weak. What comes next is clearly going to be worse. Flying our countries flag is going to be designated a “tool of hate”. We are getting an Anti-Muslim hate tsar. We are getting Islamophobia laws. All as Christopher Hitchens predicted. This was all the only logical outcome from losing the Muslim vote. Without that they know they are toast at the next election. The outcome for the rest of us will be more animosity, more unrest, let’s face it - more arrests for hurty words. And it doesn’t take a genius to predict this will have the opposite effect on social cohesion to the one they intend.
BRITAIN IS BROKEN 🇬🇧@BROKENBRITAIN0

🚨BREAKING: The UK government has just designated the Union Flag as a “tool of hate” 🇬🇧 In the leaked “social cohesion” strategy, they have said that the act of flying the flag is a tool of hate 😑 So they can designate a flag but not a group of terrorists, rightttt 😑

Millions of Muslims seek asylum in Western countries every year. Yet you rarely see them heading to other Muslim nations—especially the extremely wealthy Gulf states. Why is that?

Syria’s president Shara’a is one of the most interesting leaders to emerge in the region in many years. Extraordinary capacity and thought, a very complex individual Regardless of whether one views him as a negative or positive he’s a fascinating person with an arc of life so far that is worth understanding
Fazel Hawramy@FazelHawramy

It took Ahmad Al Sharaa less than a year to understand how the West operates For 47 years, Ali Khamenei did not understand the West and set Iran on fire before his death

@SohoKenchie @BlondShelley The script for the read out of the meeting was probably written before the terrorist even arrived. Yookay Shitizens will get told about the potential of illegal migrant returns to Syria. In reality the taxpayer will get a bill for “aid” to Syria.

@takeitbackUK @BlondShelley If Downing Street has a really good explanation of why they need to welcome that guy with a red carpet then I'm prepared to listen. If it's just 'oh diplomacy stability blah' then I'm not. They brought him here in person and gave him an official welcome.

For the first time ever, the true cost of the Chagos Islands Deal is now in legal writing UK taxpayers would pay at least £50bn to give away the Chagos Islands and rent back our own territory of Diego Garcia Not Starmer's £3bn Not £36bn Not £46bn But £50bn+ Let that sink in

This is incredible. Something is going on in the UK. The Home Office just changed its policy of arresting people for speech crimes, and not only that, it is directly addressing the grooming gang scandal in regards to ethnicity, religion, and cultural backgrounds. Why now? They’ve been denying that they did anything wrong for the longest period of time.

@GBPolitcs @DailyMail Multiple times my delivery has been completed by someone other than the designated driver. And they couldn’t tell me who it was. These things are going to keep happening. Especially when rape gets you immunity from deportation… “far right” if you point this all out though…

If Syrians in Germany do / are forced to return now that the war is over, then it could be on an unprecedented scale. Merz suggests 760k returns, al-Sharaa suggests 1.1 million. Anything close to that scale would be the largest return of refugees from Europe in living memory.
Jan A. Karon@jannibal_

Imagine in 2005 in the aftermath of 7/7 telling the British public that MI6 would be a part of removing Assad so that the founder of Al-Qaeda in Syria could take over and be invited to Downing Street. I’m yet to see the Tories, Reform, or Restore condemn this meeting.
