Looney Tunes is essentially a meme bank for 1930s-1950s pop culture. So many phrases and gags (e.g. "I'm only 3 and a half!") were pulled straight from radio shows.
Today's equivalent is Smiling Friends featuring the "number 15 burger king foot lettuce" guy. Same principle.

reading up on the history of looney tunes is so cool like an lot of the most iconic aspects of those characters was influenced by the culture of its time and we don't even realize it because we are so far removed
