Mohsen Rezaei, top military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader:
"I doubt that Trump will admit defeat and kill himself, he does not have the courage Hitler had. It is more likely that the Americans will arrest and imprison him when their living conditions deteriorate. We will sink all the U.S. warships."

@sentdefender How can they when they aren't coming to the talks??????????

@thall9290 @TheInsiderPaper Firing off weapons during a regional war that could go global is a bit more concerning

U.S. Vice President JD Vance will attend the next round of Iran talks in Pakistan along with Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and the President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, the White House has told CNN, after President Trump told ABC News that Vance would not be attempting the talks in Islamabad. In response to the conflicting messages over the U.S. delegation, a White House official said: “things changed.”

@AustinAyers @neetintel Can you translate what you said to civilian 😂

@Conflict_Radar @ItsTheEnforcer Left? You mean the White House left? Where did it go??

@Midlandistan @Alihashem @WAR527 I agree, no one is in charge in Iran and the dangling promise of a ceasefire is to ease the market. I'm awake 👀
English

@thall9290 @Alihashem @WAR527 What ceasefire? They were blowing boats up yesterday and today. “Ceasefire” was a lie to pump stock prices into weekend. He will do same Sunday night. It’s all fake news. There is no one in charge in Iran and no attainable ceasefire. Physical is settling for 200+/bbl. wake up.

The Pakistani delegation was till this evening in Tehran trying to secure a clear Iranian response to the U.S. demands. Not clear till the moment what was the outcome.
Yet the atmosphere wasn’t till early hours of the evening close to optimism.
There seems to be insistence in Tehran on sticking to the original redlines regarding enrichment and the HEU stockpiles.
The status of the strait also depends on the U.S. decision to lift the blockade.
Pakistan is still exerting efforts to find any possible breakthrough to prevent the resumption of hostilities.
The fragile truce in Lebanon is casting its shadows too on the scene, with clear insistence from the leadership to tie all the files together.
The announced visit of Quds force commander Esmail Qaani to Baghdad to discuss the selection of a prime minister demonstrates an Iranian signal they’re not giving up their influence in Iraq, despite all pressure and that the war has changed nothing in their regional policy.
What’s next?
All depends on what’s the next step from Washington.
