@chadwhitacre Great initiative. Much needed and vital for the next step of internet growth 💪🏽 So few people understand how much of the web is powered by open source software. It’s well past time for the people who build and maintain those projects to be compensated fairly.

I can't overstate how excited I am about this. ❤️ "Fixing open source sustainability" would a monumental step in the right direction for the tech industry towards a positive sum. It would help countless motivated (and/or burned out) builders to work on their OSS projects.

Keygen is our 10th member company to join the Open Source Pledge since we soft-launched week before last. As part of our major media campaign launching on October 8th, we aim to put ~15 logos on the Nasdaq Tower. Join by September 24 to be considered.

Seems like several companies in large open source ecosystems like #drupal and #wordpress would make the pledge if it was easy to make financial contributions to their project and/or foundation. osspledge.com/join/

@_eseidel @ABausG We need to get the Flutter community onboard & get more companies to sponsor their flutter projects. Is there a flutter slack or discord that we can share this news on?

@thanks_dev @ABausG So is the next step now to get the Flutter community to sign up to get funded? Or do I have to re-analyze my repo or something?

Is there something we could do to help add Dart support @thanks_dev? I like the idea, but it's currently blind to most of the code we use. :)
