As an engineer, you spend a lot more time reading and understanding code than you do writing code. But codebases aren't necessarily optimized for this; scrolling through a ton of CRUD functions tells you a lot less about what a file does than a clear explanation of why the code exists and how it fits into the system around it. Think of Codemaps as an in-depth DeepWiki that you can create in real time on any section of your codebase.
