@KimSylviamfcz @JustMeMyself_95 @AMErikaNGIRLLL 1. She had no business climbing into a city/private garbage truck 2. She had no business shutting it off because of “noise” 3. He had every right to pull her out of the truck 4. She had no right to push him, aggressor And that is why she was charged with trespassing and battery

An officer screams, “I will f*cking kill you,” at an unarmed 17-year-old leaving a Minnesota anti-ICE protest after the teen calmly asks why he has to get out of his car. Then the officer falsely claims the teen was “reaching for a gun”. PAXIS.app helps you prepare legally and constitutionally for any encounter with ICE agents or law enforcement. @EdmundsRussell @Mikedotcoza @elonmusk @Knick_RSA We don't want to buy 30% of Elon Musk, we couldn't care less about him, we want to buy 30% of Starlink South Africa operations if it seeks to operate here.

Elon Musk
Elon Musk@elonmusk·
South Africa won’t allow Starlink to be licensed, even though I was BORN THERE, simply because I am not Black! We were offered many times the opportunity to bribe our way to a license by pretending that a Black guy runs Starlink SA, but I have refused to do so on principle. Racism should not be rewarded no matter to which race it is applied. Shame on the racist politicians in South Africa. They should be shown no respect whatsoever anywhere in the world and shunned for being unashamedly RACISTS!
DogeDesigner@cb_doge

Why Elon Musk is RIGHT to fight South Africa’s racist rules blocking Starlink? Imagine this: Long ago, South Africa had very unfair laws called apartheid. They treated Black people badly and kept them from good jobs and money. When those bad laws ended, the country made new rules (called B-BBEE) to help Black people get a fair share of business. The idea was good – like a big helping hand. But now? For companies like Starlink to sell fast internet, they MUST give away 30% of their business to Black partners. Just because of skin color. Elon Musk was born in South Africa. He left as a teen to chase big dreams. Today, his company SpaceX wants to bring Starlink – super fast satellite internet – to South Africa. But the rules say no unless they give up part of the company. Elon said it right: “Starlink is not allowed because I’m not Black.” SpaceX promised to spend about $30 million (that’s 500 million rand!) to give FREE high-speed internet to 5,000 rural schools. That helps over 2.4 MILLION kids every year learn better, get jobs later, and have a brighter future. Real help for the people who need it most! Starlink already works in about 24 other African countries. Villages there now have internet for school, doctors, and business. South Africa’s villages are missing out because of these racist rules. Elon isn’t asking for special favors. He just wants fair play so Starlink can connect everyone fast. Internet = education, jobs, hope. Why hold back millions of kids over rules that pick by race and color?

@Mikedotcoza @elonmusk @Knick_RSA U R missing the point, @elonmusk is by birth a South African, why iw he forced to give a large percentage investment to people, because he happened to be born the wrong colour? Happening 2 all of us here. It takes away your ability to build a legacy for your children to inherit.

@elonmusk SA hasn’t formally denied Starlink a license, but regulatory barriers regarding local ownership have prevented its launch. The primary hurdle is that SA law requires foreign telecom companies to have 30% ownership by Historically Disadvantaged Groups (HDGs), anti-apartheid policy

@elonmusk Here we go again. Its like the Brazil lie First, SA hasn’t denied anything formally Second, you would be the racist because the SA requires 30% ownership by Historically Disadvantaged Groups And Starlink has 100% ownership by who?😂

@JMUSPatriot @Das196976Kal @NYCMayor And most never become violentbut that’s not the only reason cashless bail exists. Since you’re not American 🇺🇸 let me school you on our legal principles The most “holy” is, you’re innocent until proven guilty” We 🇺🇸 prefer not to imprison innocent people because they cant pay

@Das196976Kal @NYCMayor Most murderers in the US already have other prior violent felony arrests. Instead of being thrown in jail for 5-10 years, they are often given cashless bails under democrat's "catch and release" policies.

I have been briefed on an incident that occurred at Grand Central Station this morning. Reports indicate a man slashed three people on the platform with a machete. Officers shot the man when he did not drop the machete. He has since been pronounced dead. I’m grateful to the NYPD for their quick response and for preventing additional violence. The three victims were taken to the hospital and are thankfully in stable condition. The NYPD is conducting an internal investigation and will release body-worn camera footage, as it does in all incidents involving the discharge of an officer's firearm.

@NYCMayor Let’s review the video and see if what is being said is true. I don’t trust Coppers, kinda period on that Too many video reviews find that they lie like dogs. Probably not the case in this situation but let’s review the video and see if there was a moment of de-escalation

AFRICAN & BLACK HISTORY
AFRICAN & BLACK HISTORY@AfricanArchives·
In 1893, Frederick Douglass invited Ida B. Wells to lunch. She noted a place across the street, but indicated they would not receive service there. “Mr. Douglass, in his vigorous way, grasped my arm and said, ‘Come, let’s go there.’” Together, they “sauntered in...as if it were an everyday occurrence, cocked and primed for the fight if necessary.” Douglass grabbed a table and chair for him and Wells, as “paralyzed” staff looked on. A stand-off ensued with wait staff until the proprietor realized it was Frederick Douglass, and warmly welcomed him while sharing stories of a time past when Douglass visited his hometown. “When [the proprietor] finally went to another part of the room, Mr. Douglass turned to me with a roguish look and said, ‘Ida, I thought you said that they didn’t serve us here. It seems we are getting more attention than we want.’” Frederick Douglass spent his life fighting for justice and equality. He never knew the date of his birth. This is something he struggled with throughout his lifetime. Douglass believed that he was born in the month of February in 1817. In fact, records show that Douglass was born in February of 1818. He chose the 14th of February for his birthday because his mother would call him her “little Valentine." Unfortunately, Douglass never knew much about his parentage. His mother, Harriet, was sold off when Douglass was but a child, and he only met her a few times before she passed away. Though born enslaved in Maryland, he escaped as a young man and became a leading voice in the abolitionist movement.
