Not a fan of Starbucks moving their HQ to Nashville. Starbucks promoted the exact policies that ran Seattle into the ground, and would pull the "but but we like veterans" as the pressure relief valve whenever they'd go too far. I'm not a fan of them escaping the natural consequences of the policies that they supported This will be a hot take since I'm a pretty pro-free market guy but red states may want to consider a tax barrier of some sort for tech companies or others fleeing California, Pacific Northwest, NYC, when those companies and execs supported the policies that damaged those places They have plenty of money. They can spend it fixing their own problems, not coming here.

Just a gentle reminder that Lindsey Graham lives 1.5 hours from my doorstep. He NEVER CAME TO VISIT US in Western North Carolina a SINGLE TIME after Hurricane Helene. Not once. He has flown to Ukraine 9 times and tries to visit Israel “every 2 weeks”…

@sweatystartup I sold my rental on the lake. Too many rentals. Only had two months of continuous booking. And even then couldn’t rent it high enough to make it worth it.

Just rented a $3 million house in the Smokey Mountains for $400 a night. 6,000 sf. 7 bedrooms 8 baths. The market must be getting absolutely crushed. Is visitor traffic down that much? Too many Airbnbs?

#Preds front office is finally taking their medicine after years off pushing it off and trying to be just good enough. It stings for sure to see your team burn down, but in the long run this is the medicine this organization needs right now.

This is evidence counter to the "we need to play better in front of Saros, we gotta help him out" refrain we've heard all season (and last season). Are they playing better in front of Annunen? No. The defense is consistent. It's the goaltender.

Bill Haslam pretty clear he’s not open to a full scale rebuild. Essentially saying that the current roster has a lot of great players and that he doesn’t see the need to blow it up. I guess this a good reminder to not be surprised by expected behavior. This franchise is what it’s always been.
