The 2022 floods were largely driven by human-induced climate change! Years of large dam and water projects promoted by the World Bank and ADB have worsened Pakistan's climate situation. Harmful projects, like debt-heavy dams on the Indus, costly coal power, reliance on fossil fuels, and poorly planned privatization, have pushed the country to the edge.
