As someone with two BIPs, (spoke at Scaling Bitcoin 1-3, yada yada, ...) Today's BIP process is, I think, a fraud. No soft fork has activated, (BIP or otherwise), since Taproot in 2021. There have only been 2 of them in 10 years, SegWit and Taproot -- these were some of our worst upgrades ever, complex and useless -- bip39 and bip47 were frankly better BIPs, which is an absurdly low bar. (And how long did it take Core to adopt those?) Very few SegWit/Taproot "supporters" understood anything about them -- to this day, I hear people say that "SegWit txns cost less fees because they use fewer bytes". But sure -- they were considered on their merit! And Bitcoin core? It is not a meritocracy in the slightest. A *real* meritocracy, would make some effort to detect error. It would measure false positives and false negatives. For example, maintainers would occasionally try to merge code that they knew was bad -- or, they would occasionally try to block code that they knew was good. And then they would reveal the sokal affair, and people would be **fired** from the project as a consequence. Core is run nothing like that! It is instead more like the FDA where everyone is too spinless to do anything, so nothing happens. There is zero audit of the process. Everyone thinks that they are a meritocracy -- including all of the people who are wrong. Any tyrant could claim the same. In contrast, a true meritocracy would assume that error is everywhere -- and test for it constantly. A quantum style BIP (with new signatures), would be 200x more DOA than Schnorr signature aggregation -- which is nowhere in sight. I have written more on these topics here: truthcoin.info/files/covenant… truthcoin.info/blog/derangeme… Anyone who thinks that Bitcoin Core is run well, is a complete fool, who doesn't understand kindergarten-level basics of bullying / politics, or even GitHub basics such as rebase hell. The arrogance and naivete, have now reached enormous levels. It is the blind leading the blind. And -- when @nic_carter 's PR goes nowhere ... then? he does what ? Release an alternative client? And ask pools to run it? Or? Release a hard fork of Bitcoin? Or a new altcoin, with a new name?? Ridiculous! I can't believe people are so stupid, in 2026. Finally, note this: when the BIP process is finally revealed -- as the broken mess it is -- the guilty will escape justice! No one will go back, and round up all the fools who said "build your own BIP is always an option get support", and have them tarred and feathered. The consequences for defrauding the public will --alas-- be zero. /That itself/ shows you how corrupt it must be!

Nic Carter wants you to panic about quantum computing killing Bitcoin. What he doesn’t lead with: his firm led a $20M round in Project Eleven — a company that only profits if you believe the quantum sky is falling. QC is worth watching. But the guy selling the cure has every reason to exaggerate the disease.

Nic, you invested at $30M, it's now $120M, you're on the board, and you hold a token warrant. You're also the loudest voice telling the world $600B in BTC is at quantum risk. That's not transparency — that's an ongoing conflict of interest. "They don't sell anything" isn't reassuring. They raised $26M on a SAFE with a token warrant. The business model isn't absent, it's deferred. Fund research → build credibility → launch token → capture value from the urgency you helped create. The research may be solid. But when the guy holding the fire insurance is the one yelling FIRE the loudest, it's fair to say so. Every time.

y’all retards saying @nic_carter can’t be trusted on quantum because he’s invested in a post-quantum cryptography company is the same as saying Michael Saylor can’t be trusted on bitcoin because he’s invested in bitcoin. you invest in the thing you believe in. it would be more suspect if he WERENT invested in a post quantum company and just held giant disgusting gay bags of eth. nic could be wrong about quantum, certainly, but so could you. and unless you’re a fucking quantum physicist i don’t care what you have to say on the topic because I know enough physics to know how nuanced and domain-specific this knowledge is, and how utterly unequipped anyone who is not a quantum computing engineer is to opine on this topic and its likely trajectory. so I’m gonna go with what the quantum computing engineers think and they evidently think I should be taking action so I favor taking action rather than twiddling my dick and talking low iq, jpeg-brained nonsense on the internet.

The main reason why I got into ordinals in the first place, was to find digital collectibles with IP brand potential, built directly on the mother-chain. What I found was that very few were building IPs the right way. The only collection that really stood out was Pizza Ninjas by @pizzaninjas. They seemed to understand the value of doing it right from the get-go, building infrastructure not only on the tech side, but also on its long-term vision of how the IP would work. I’m so impressed by what @TO has envisioned for Pizza Ninjas. Don’t let the name "IP School" fool you. It truly is THE big f*cking announcement, which TO called it last year. It changes everything. Decentralised IP finally gets to be what people envisioned it to be back in 2021. So, what’s the idea? Envision being able to trade ordinals based on their IP value, instead of trait value. By trading the IP, you also get the rights to use the character whichever way you like, monetising it, and continue building the lore around the Ninja. Now, imagine 3000 Pizza Ninjas doing this at the same time, making the value of their joint IP larger, but also increasing the value of their individual ninja. All of this in a decentralised fashion, with no centralised entity pulling the strings alone. Ninja Strategy gets a percentage of the money Ninjas earn, and in return will continue to help the community by building tools and infrastructure for Ninjas to use, and making deals with big players in the ecosystem on Ninjas’ behalf. If this isn’t the future of IP, I truly don’t know what is. I’ve never been more bullish on an IP idea, than Pizza Ninjas🍕🥷

Tomorrow at Ralf’s Game Club. We’re hosting OpenClaw & Governance. Presented by Future Tech Collective PR, Laptop Radio, and Tom K. A fireside chat on where AI agents are actually going. Real builders. Real use cases. Real conversations. If you’ve been paying attention to AI agents, you’ll want to be in the room. 6 PM in San Juan.

@adam3us I usually don't bother saying this, but spam is something sent from A to B that B doesn't want to receive. Spam is not something sent from A to B, where A wants to send it, B wants to receive it, and C doesn't want it to exist.
