The White House was forced to backtrack today because the proposed “10-point deal” from Iran was a disaster that would let them enrich uranium, fund proxies like Hezbollah, maintain leverage over the Strait of Hormuz, and get sanctions relief. Even top allies like Mark Levin and Larry Kudlow are calling it a disaster. Let’s be honest about how we got here: there was never an imminent threat to the U.S. Now we’re stuck in it, negotiating from a weakened position.

Sometimes you just have to run away… I have been open about the struggles I’ve had, like all of you, with the hate and violence seen across the globe. Feeling impotent. Heartbroken. Enraged. Overwhelmed. And, the feeling that the city I love is on fire had left me despondent. I realized I needed to reset. The majesty of Nature is always the answer for me. So, I went to Iceland. Alone. And it was transformational. I knew seeing the Northern Lights would wake me up and remind me of the the Awesomeness of the Universe. The vast unknowable Design. And It brought me back to life.

Stephen A. Smith. I’ve known him for nearly 20 yrs. Hadn’t seen him for 3 yrs-way too long. He cracks me up. Makes me mad. Makes me smile. Makes me think. Constantly. And when we sat down in my living room to tape my show, he also made me cry. That’s what friendship is all about. This is an incredibly special episode. So grateful for this man. @stephenasmith
