@LeaderJohnThune This is not about simple voter idea and secure elections. The overwhelming data supports that fact. This is an excuse for voter suppression over a manufactured problem that is constantly lied about. bipartisanpolicy.org/article/five-t…

Polls show overwhelming support for proof of citizenship to register and photo ID to vote. The Senate is in session because Americans deserve to know why Democrats oppose these commonsense policies.

Da’Quain Johnson’s mother asks a painful question after watching the video: “At what point was he a threat?” She says her son was on the ground, restrained by a K9, when officers fired multiple shots. She still has not seen evidence of the weapon police claim justified deadly force. This is a mother demanding truth. No family should have to beg for answers after such a devastating loss.

On March 21, 1965, the third Selma to Montgomery march began, a defining moment in the movement for voting rights. Under a federal court order, only 300 marchers were permitted to travel the highway at a time. Over five days, the number of demonstrators grew, and by the time the marchers reached Montgomery, more than 25,000 people stood together calling for justice and full access to the ballot. That collective courage helped lead to the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 just months later, a critical step toward removing barriers that denied Black Americans the right to vote. The legacy of that march reminds us that progress requires persistence, participation, and protection of our rights. #RestoreTheVRA #JohnLewisVRAA #MLK #JohnLewis #Nonviolence365

Republicans murdered the CONSTITUTION!
@marceelias Shockingly enough, he WAS asked this weekend just "how many" non-citizens had voted, and naturally he answered in Republican: "Well, I don't know those numbers, but I do believe...<insert nonsensical word salad about 'probably hundreds of thousands'>" 😑 x.com/FordJohnathan5…

🚨 #BREAKINGNEWS Senator Mike Lee the possibility of voter fraud is well known. Here I will help. It's .002% out of roughly 1 billion votes. Save Act would disenfranchise 12% to 18% of US voters. This has been investigated and studied enormously. 🚨

This young lady was called Phillis because that was the name of the ship that brought her, and Wheatley, the name of the merchant who bought her. She was born in Senegal 🇸🇳. In Boston, the slave traders put her up for sale: “She's 7 years old! She will be a good mare!” She was felt naked by many hands. At thirteen, she was already writing poems in a language that was not her own. No one believed that she was the author. At twenty, Phillis was questioned by a court of eighteen so-called enlightened White men in robes and wigs. She had to recite passages from Virgil and Milton and verses from the Bible, and vow that the poems she composed were not copied. From a chair, she underwent her lengthy examination until the court approved her: she was a woman, she was Black, she was enslaved, but she was a poet. Phillis Wheatley was the first African-American writer to publish a book in the United States 🇺🇸

@KSL5TV @RFHKerry Why was the effort to collect signatures for defeating a potential bill to ban public unions so much more rigorous and strict compared to what appears to be happening with this current process? People’s names are appearing who didn’t even sign.

KSL Investigators have received complaints from Utahns who say they were misled, tricked, or even lied to during the effort to get a repeal of Prop 4 on the November ballot. Are there any legal consequences for misrepresenting a ballot issue to voters? ksltv.com/?p=890549

Good news for America’s children. ACIP was devoid of vaccine expertise and made harmful and ideologically driven recommendations that went against pediatric medical science. Hopefully we can rebuild pubic confidence in vaccines despite their efforts to undermine it, but it won’t be easy
