diggers, tractors, cranes, etc what fuel do you think was used to gather the materials to make the e.vs? i think electric is great, it makes more efficient use of our energy, but it is laughable to say that we can transition easily, and completely with current amount id money and technology we have

If any political party actually wanted to win in a landslide in New Zealand—none do, they all hate you—they could campaign on removing all tax, GST, emissions trading scheme, levies, everything, from the price of fuel, which would effectively drop the price to the $1.50-2 range.
