This photo shows 180 tonnes of steel reinforcement used at the base of a wind turbine. To complete it, approximately 800 cubic meters of concrete remain to be added. It will remain in the ground. IT'S NOT GREEN. Hit ♥️ if you think renewables are a scam

Born free, ‘Levied’ to death!
@TheZeitgeistNZ 8 more days storage, wow ok it’s a start. The days of ‘think big’ really are gone for good. But am I right this refurbishment is just because of Labour decommissioning & the extent of it? They really didn’t have to go that far. I bet that cost more than 20 mil to destroy it, too.

The government has approved a $20 million project to refurbish tanks at Marsden Pt to provide 8 days more diesel storage. Funded through the Regional Infrastructure Fund. Ready in 2 months. If we can secure diesel from now to fill ‘em up, we will. rnz.co.nz/news/political…

@sarah_go_green We use twice that but we are an all electric house with an EV. Our annual usage is 11,250kWh. It is Autumn in NZ and last month we used 791kWh but only 79kWh were peak hours. 90% was off-peak and we don't have a battery or solar as yet. We have just shifted load to off-peak.

The average UK home uses between 225 - 283 kWh of electricty a month. In March on my rooftop in Wales I produced so far 482 kWh.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⚡️ I've got 15 panels & almost the smallest invertor you can have. (4 kW) Washing ✅☀️ Cooking ✅⛅️ Cleaning ✅🌤️ Battery storage.🔋 No one blocks the sun. We need more rooftop solar and battery storage. @OctopusEnergy installed mine. octopusreferral.link/solar-panels-i…

The world doesn't need more of this unsightly useless rubbish. It wastes farmland, destroys habitats and in the end creates expensive unreliable electricity which ends up in landfill every 15-20 years. IT'S NOT GREEN. Hit ♥️ if you want this SCAM to end

@nzpoliticsgroup National should have encouraged people to electrify. We need more EV's, more solar panels, more wind, more geothermal, more batteries and more hydro storage, less big utes, no LNG terminals! Luxon has backed all the wrong options!

Alert: New Zealand - GOING DARK 🚨🚨🚨 IF the global energy crisis escalates, New Zealand is far from the worst country to be in—but when we reach Level 4, the situation will become difficult for many. Many people remain blissfully unaware of the gathering storm fast approaching. On top of that, winter is closing in — bringing rain, winds, and bitter cold we’ll have to contend with. Fortunately, New Zealanders are resilient—but many will still be pushed to their limits. The most severe impacts will likely hit Southeast and Central Asia, Africa, and parts of Europe, where food shortages could lead to widespread famine and loss of life. New Zealand needs to move to Level 2 next week.

@threeboysbrew yes cause we can use wind, sun, water and geothermal to power any of production industries, you absolute retard. all of those combined would only help 20% of our total energy requirements
