My OPEN ACCESS edited collection chapter: Talk Shows and 'Tanorexia': Motherhood and 'Sunbed addiction' on British Television in the 1990s, explores how Esther Rantzen (alongside The Vanessa Show) stigmatised mothers and, albeit lightly, metrosexual men for using sunbeds.
