@Theholisticpsyc Ah…my entire life. Rest of my siblings don’t want to “keep” my parents. Me unmarried single mom had to make room for them to live in with me. Been a hell ride as I now am learning all these boundaries to secure & meet my toddler’s need & not theirs.

If you were “mature for their age” you might have been parentified. Parentification is when a child is made to fill an adult role.

If they are to put the ONUS on us, then they have to:
1. Be aware that a trained woman will chop their ***** and/of other organs.
2. No jail time & punishment imposed onto a woman who acts out of self-defence with proven evidence.
3. Society stops shaming her 4 violence.

I know and teach martial arts. Most of the time it becomes into counselling inner trauma & empowering already assaulted females thru martial arts. It doesn’t solve the actual problem.

Asking women to learn self defence is again putting the onus on them for their safety, what is the society and law enforcement doing? Also, it is also based on the assumption that assaults cannot be stopped, those will keep happening
