@ApmNeill In 2005 I was at an outstanding Caravaggio exhibition at he Royal Academy London & in 2011 "Caravaggio and His Followers in Rome" exhibition at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa but this painting was not featured at either one. Pity. I guess the waiting game continues! 😇

I have never seen this painting in person. Caravaggio’s Incredulity of St Thomas. Today’s Gospel. 💙

@bensondiane11 It's cold enough for me in Canada from December to even now. So I like Venice in either May or Sept. Having said that my first visit there was in an early November. It was crisp and bright and the water reflections captivating. Enough to pull me back as often as possible. 😇

@bensondiane11 Tintoretto is there, and here's the floor monument in the right hand chapel as I saw it recently. As you can see people still leave flowers. Also a photo of his terracotta bust made in the 1930's I believe.

@venning_mark Ciao Mark! I went to Madonna dell'Orta to see Tintorettos' tomb. I was told it is not located there, yet 10 paintings are also there, supposedly. Any insight to share? ♥️

@FloraeOlga That's one of the vision points I love about each sestiere, each with its own unique "fusione integrale" and at the same tome becoming suddenly aware that you have crossed over from one to the next.
