New HOD here! Wooo! I’m compiling all of my team’s timetables right now onto a spreadsheet. Does anyone have a template for this that they would be able to send me?

@ShawMaths Our MIS doesn’t do it very well, otherwise that would be so nice!

@vmphysics_ As others have said, you should be able to pull this off your MIS (or your timetabler can) I use conditional formatting to colour code the different year groups.

@vmphysics_ I use excel so I can colour code year groups etc using formatting and see everyone’s timetables vertically together, it’s really useful I find!

@MathsWebb @vmphysics_ Same - if OP is using SIMS. Reports ➡️ Timetable ➡️ Selection ➡️ Tick staff names. Customise formatting, margins etc so fit on one A4/A3.

@scitechbeck I cannot recommend it enough! I introduced it to our technician this year who was also using a spreadsheet system and he was hesitant at first, but once I walked him through it he was completely on board. Why don’t you try testing it with just 1 teacher first to see how you feel?

Does anyone on here use Lablogger? My new HoD is desperate to set it up but me (and the other tech) are very apprehensive. We absolutely love our current req system of a simple spreadsheet. We don't know why she wants to change something that already works so well for everyone 😕
