Pairpoint (@web3pairpoint) by @VodafoneGroup and Sumitomo collaborates with Chainlink on a new tokenized asset financing solution for adding AI capabilities to telecommunications infrastructure. pairpoint.io/news/web3/pair… Pairpoint is a joint venture by Vodafone, a global technology communications powerhouse serving over 275 million customers across 15 countries, and Sumitomo, one of Japan’s leading integrated trading and investment companies with ¥11 trillion in total assets. The collaboration involves a solution that: • Tokenizes new infrastructure investments to existing telecom towers to enable AI capabilities. • Investors can purchase these tokenized assets to support the investment. • Once installed, the Chainlink Runtime Environment securely sources and relays asset usage and pricing data onchain. • The data is used to calculate investor rewards based on real-world AI computing activity. The result is a next-generation tokenized financing model that drives investment into key AI infrastructure, while empowering investors worldwide to participate.
