The issue is that previous generations had far more economic mobility. This is the first time in this nation's history that most people born here do not think their lives will be better than their parents. A home in the US used to be 2years wages today its closers to 5+years. The median age of first time home buyer hit 40years of age in 2025 this means that on average it takes someone 22 years of working as an adult to buy a house just to get the mortgage. This has knock on effects such as reduced TFR for women and then enpoyeers shreik we need more foreigners to replace the childern not had since the americans cannot afford kids at the stagnated wages. While our foreign replacements breed like rabbits on the government dole.
