Last night, we finished putting the village of Eastfolk to bed for the year. A week ago, the field was full as we celebrated 10 years of FolkEast. There was joy everywhere. People meeting old friends, and new friendships beginning, surrounded by music, under a perfect Suffolk sky

This is 17 year old Rachel Hall and her mother Michelle from Orford in Suffolk. She attempted to take her life in July 2020 as the country was just coming out of lockdown. She ended up in hospital but says she wasn’t offered face to face mental health help for 7 months
