Here are two great ways to undermine U.S. elections:
1. Claim our elections are fraudulent/not credible without providing proof that this is the case.
2. Taking a whole day to count 1% more of the votes in a close election while telling people this is completely normal.

Two things can be true:
1. Trump is alleging voter fraud in California without providing evidence.
2. California’s delay in counting votes is embarrassing and unacceptable. Even if you don’t think it’s fraud it shows pure incompetence. There’s really no way around it.

@Michael_E_Ross It’s wild incompetence. Even if what you say is true, there is no reason it should take days or weeks to do this. No reason at all for an entire day to go by after election night with no new votes counted. This isn’t normal and shouldn’t ever considered to be.

@will_m1399 Actually, there is a way around it. The “delay” isn’t a delay at all, but a way of checking votes against signatures, confirming addresses, and taking extra measures to prevent the voter fraud MAGA is hoping for.
There’s nothing incompetent about safeguarding your election.

1) We might not like how California administers its elections (and I don't). But that doesn't make it fraud. That doesn't make it cheating. It doesn't make it unlawful. 2) That being said, this post-election outrage was entirely foreseeable, but Governor Newsom and the state legislature (assembly) did nothing to improve the situation. 3) They sit by while election officials take the hit. Election officials get dragged online. Election officials get investigated.
