Torrington NSW A 75 year old man and his 73 year old wife were victims of a home invasion just after midnight last night. The 34 year old home invader stabbed the couple and left the home only to try and re-enter and finish the job. It was then that the 75 year old man shot the home invader. The elderly couple were flown to the Gold Coast hospital, both in a critical condition. The 34 year old home invader was taken to Armidale Hospital, and quite frankly, I dont think there's a single person who cares about his condition. They were not known to each other, this was just another random attack. My thoughts and prayers are with the elderly couple.
