When a U.S. Army veteran was arrested on conspiracy charges for his role in an anti-ICE protest in Spokane, Washington, last summer, it was the first time an American had been charged with conspiracy in connection with the ongoing ICE protests. Some legal experts saw it as an escalation of the administration's efforts to suppress, and even criminalize, First Amendment rights.

This is a lawyer's car—ICE shatter window & detain client without a warrant.
"They just surrounded vehicle and started breaking the window," sister-in-law said.
"Assaulted both my sister and her husband."
He called from detention center—agents still haven't said why arrested.
"He has been in process of getting his papers for the last 9 years—every part of today was illegal!"
The incident occurred in Bridgeton, New Jersey.

ICE detain paralyzed man for 3 months—abuse by guards has sent him to hospital 3 times.
Agents deny him access to wheelchair—won't even let him use his crutches from home.
Medical neglect has led to unusual fainting spells, falls, and injuries.
They don't even cut his hair.
The man's life took a drastic turn from being a kung fu master—to depending on a wheelchair for daily mobility.
"His condition is only getting worse. I’m very afraid for his life," his wife said.
ICE has yet to give a reason for his detention in the first place in Newark, New Jersey.
