@wearydetective0 @WeStandResolute @zackbeauchamp You don’t “disagree on what it is,” you disagree on whether it’s okay when it benefits you. If it’s so normal, why oppose independent maps and anti-gerrymandering laws?
English

@wearydetective0 @WeStandResolute @zackbeauchamp Then why did Democrats try to pass a bill that bans gerrymandering and republicans blocked it? Explain that one
English

@WeStandResolute @zackbeauchamp You’ll never get Democrats to agree to a system where they can never win the house because their voters live in cities. It’s bad for Dems and for the country.
English

@ENVADER1 @MarkCook185009 @BeingJWood Y’all are being a bunch of cry babies because democrats are finally playing by your rules. If you don’t like it, then change the laws you dumb bitch.
English

@zguy34 @MarkCook185009 @BeingJWood Challenge is still pending - they didn’t put a stay on it but at same time it hasn’t been ruled yet. No way 49% of the population can be disfranchised to a 9% voice… that’s true fascist behavior that you lefties bitch about so much
English

@ENVADER1 @MarkCook185009 @BeingJWood And who proposed a bill to ban gerrymandering nationwide? It wasn’t the Republicans
English

@MarkCook185009 @BeingJWood And guess what? It was a constitutional amendment to allow the redistricting. It already got up to the VA Supreme Court and they allowed the vote on it
English

@BeingJWood The difference is the Virginia Constitution doesn't allow redistricting at this time. The lawsuit is already sitting in the Republican Controlled Virginia Supreme Court.
English

@Big_Dave42 @acnewsitics Ummm yeah because that’s where the majority of people live idiot
English

@acnewsitics You mean the consent of Fairfax County. Because until then Dems were getting their asses kicked.
English

@MuracoThe @EdKrassen Who tried to get a bill passed in the US House to ban gerrymandering? I’ll give you a hint, it wasn’t the republicans
English

@EdKrassen Actually it’s a terrible sign for Democracy

@KylePorterNS I just have a hard time believing this. You can’t replace real competition reps. Breaking 50 with LeBron isn’t the same as going against Scottie at Hilton Head.
Nice negotiation tactic but winning majors is his main goal and playing on the pgatour is the best way to get ready

What do you think about this question from @pembelson?
- - - - - -
Lou,
Hypothetical question from my weekend group.
A 5-index gets a full PGA Tour card for the season. Expenses paid, veteran caddie, practice rounds. We all agree he's never making a cut.
But could he avoid finishing dead last just once?
Let's assume he plays 50 events, that's 100 rounds. All he needs is one pro's worst day to line up with his best.
Can it happen?
English

@LouStagner I’ve done it before, but it was out of bunkers with little to no sand
English

@_ObjectiveTruth @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT There’s no independent evidence the original audience “knew the author.” That’s an assumption, not a historical fact.
English

@zguy34 @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT Hardly anonymous. Especially the Gospel of Luke who writes specifically to Theophilus. The Gospels were written and distributed to those of the time who definitely knew of the person who wrote them.
English

@_ObjectiveTruth @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT Anonymous texts written decades later with shared sources aren’t independent eyewitness evidence. Deny it if you wish, that’s on you.
English

@zguy34 @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT They are eye witnesses accounts whether you like it or not and all separate accounts. You just dont like it. Deny it if you wish. Thats on you.
English

@_ObjectiveTruth @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT Multiple accounts in the same tradition aren’t independent corroboration, that’s not how historical evidence works.
English

The accounts that are separate and plural are in the Bible. Just because those sources are put together in a collection doesn't mean its a circular claim. If I put a collection of history together from different historians and they all talked about the same event roughly the same way you wouldn't claim the collection is quoting itself.
There are different accounts that corroborate eachother. They arent the same source. Which means they are at least valid from a historically forensic view.
English

@_ObjectiveTruth @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT If the evidence exists, cite the independent sources, not the Bible quoting itself.
English

@zguy34 @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT The evidence exists. If evidence exists that proves it then yes the burden to disprove indeed is on you.
English

@_ObjectiveTruth @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT That flips the burden of proof. Claims need evidence, not “you can’t disprove it.”
English

@zguy34 @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT If the crucifixion is corroborated then the other claims deserve more investigation. Which one will find is difficult to disprove.
English

@_ObjectiveTruth @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT Crucifixion is accepted history; the supernatural claims aren’t, that’s the gap in your argument.
English

@Viniciussquilo @zguy34 @ChristiansSTDT Its really not faith. The crucifixion alone is corroborated by multiple non Christian sources.
The resurrection has multiple sources by those who saw Jesus and they all agree on the account. So it would be foolish to simply disregard.
English

@_ObjectiveTruth @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT Name one major biblical event that is independently confirmed by multiple non-biblical sources using the same standards historians apply.
English

@zguy34 @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT Most historical scholars would disagree with you. Not to mention thats exactly how we determine the truth of an event in a courtroom.
English

@_ObjectiveTruth @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT Corroboration of details isn’t validation of the narrative.
English

@zguy34 @Viniciussquilo @ChristiansSTDT Apparently you dont know the Bible is corroborated and missed my statement that said exactly that.
