Here's a thought...What if Maul: Shadow Lord was always meant to be a full season (20ish episodes) but Disney didn't want it to run into the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu so they split it into 2 seasons ๐Ÿค”

No, John Boyega did say that exact quote in his 2017 GQ interview. The full context: โ€œThere are no black people on Game of Thrones. You don't see one black person in Lord of the Rings. I ain't paying money to always see one type of person on-screen.โ€ Multiple outlets (GQ, BET, NME, Forbes, etc.) reported it verbatim at the time.

Star Wars actor John Boyega explained why he doesnโ€™t watch Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones in 2017: โ€œThere are no Black people in Game of Thrones,โ€ he said. โ€œYou donโ€™t see one Black person in Lord of the Rings. I ainโ€™t paying money to always see one type of person on-screen. Thoughts?

Got the best sex of your life and instead of just saying that you have to make a remark about her being a 7/10 for no reason? Do men actually like women? Youโ€™re eating off a paper plate with a crusty ass bong in front of you bro I donโ€™t think youโ€™re in a position to call someone a 7/10. Looks to me she was doing charity work.

With the recent tweets about how Sandra Hรผller was poorly treated by a film journalist while promoting Project Hail Mary, I just want to remind everyone that there are film journalists worth listening to. One of them is Perri Nemiroff, who runs the YouTube series Collider Ladies Night under Collider. Itโ€™s a platform dedicated to highlighting female artists, some of whom arenโ€™t even big names yet, but still get the chance to have thoughtful, genuine conversations with her. She comes prepared, does her homework, and actually engages with her guests in a meaningful way. At this point, sheโ€™s one of the few film journalists I genuinely trust, especially when it comes to Yellowjackets, boy she knows the lore so much and has interviewed the entire cast like it's her Infinity Stone ๐Ÿ˜… Go check out her channel, it's really awesome to watch. I like it ๐Ÿฅฐ

@emkenobi After my showing of TLJ people were largely really positive. Some didn't like it as much as TFA but it wasn't until I got online I saw the backlash. The response to TROS was tragically a little more muted, it took me a couple watches to fully connect with it.

Adam Driver on what the original plan for Kylo Ren's arc was: "[J.J. Abrams] idea was that almost the opposite journey of Vader where Vader starts the most confident the most committed to the dark side and by the last movie he's the most vulnerable and weak. And he wanted to start at the opposite. This character was the most confused and vulnerable and then by the end of the three movies would be most committed to the dark side." Would this have been a better arc for the character?
