@norlin7 I think the Kings have a great path for Isaiah. They are woefully short on RHD in the system. I also believe 1 or both of Doughty and Ceci are not long for this team. Additionally, the organization has 3 former NHL defensemen; Chris Hajt, (AHL) Sean O’Donnell and Matt Greene as development staff. The future #1 RHD, Clarke, will probably not be playing PK. Isaiah would be getting ample meaningful icetime. At least, in my view. Wishing the best outcome.

True. It confounds me as to why ‘prospect guru’, Corey Pronman still lists to this very day “poor skating” as his skating rating for Brandt Clarke. It’s beyond absurd. I’ve seen a competition-style video, whereas forwards try to beat Clarke 1 on 1 and they 100% fail. Just because Clarke has a knock-kneed style, does not mean he’s a poor skater. It’s no different than say, a baseball player with an odd stance or swing mechanics (or pitcher) yet can still achieve high success. It matters not. You don’t call them a poor player.

How many times is Brandt Clarke going to save their asses? It's also funny that Clarke, who was knocked for his skating, is by far their most mobile defenseman now.
