@MyGolfTips24 Right. In which case pretty sure he tied with Haotong Li, and dividend actually would have been 112.5/1 after the dead-heat? It is a great find regardless, not sure about the way you've decided to highlight it here.

Here's some extremely rare footage. This is the only public appearance in New Zealand of superstar sprinter Ka Ying Rising for his original trainer, Fraser Auret. This is a jumpout win at Levin in January last year, ridden by Madan Singh. He was purchased off the back of this.

If you have spare coin and don't mind a potential donation to the bookies. A couple of long shots who are capable of winning at odds tomorrow @ Otaki but question marks on the heavy. R4 - Susie Jane ($23.00/$4.80) R5 - Haloumi ($17.00/$4.60) Top5 plays may not be a bad option.

@MCruicky BGP get a kick back from the bookie they punt with. That’s there driving force to get it so big. Would get x cents for every dollar bet.

1:) The biggest/easiest low hanging fruit idea to give the All Star Mile some actual engagement & make it about the “votes & general public” plus driving fans (new & old) is to do a Boys Get Paid Style Punters club for the day. There is already existing tech built out there 🧵

@PuntHubAus @leighjones0212 @boysgetpaid How many individual investors were involved? When the money is getting spread across 10,000 plus accounts if there is a return, then surely you would get higher limits?

@leighjones0212 @boysgetpaid There are punt clubs already set up. And they use Entain too. They’re good products too; the PuntClubs…. but rounding up the punters isn’t easy… and getting set to win that just doesn’t happen. We’ve run a few and Entain agreed that max liability on a sat metro was $50k

Great result for the @boysgetpaid Still nothing off the sort of this punters club in our backwaters of Australia. Can’t understand why turnover down and why we can’t attract new punters. A proven model staring you in the eye and we get donuts.

There's a first time for everything. R8 Otaki yesterday. Dead heat for first. Enquiry 1st vs 1st. Upheld. Love Nesst wins outright despite official dead heat margin.

@scottd_sports @mark_keohane @AllBlacks The first game where the NZTAB offered sports betting was at Athletic Park on the 6th of July 1996. The Boks series was August 1996. If the TAB ran a set of odds that were vastly different from offshore competitors they would get slammed by arbsters.

@BgpGoat @mark_keohane @AllBlacks The TAB started allowing sports betting that year, so unsure if these games were eligible. If they were, you have to remember whichever country runs odds tends to favour their home side. The odds that year must have been close if they were available. It was a great series.

The @AllBlacks have been underdogs in only 4 of their 359 games since the #NZTAB first offered sports betting odds in 1996 – all of them away to the Springboks in South Africa - and they lost all 4 times. They are NZTAB underdogs v Ireland for #RWC2023 q/f in Paris.

@mark_keohane @AllBlacks It's actually five times. They have won 1/5 as underdogs with the NZ TAB. Usually the underdog does lose. I'm actually surprised they haven't been underdog more than five times since 1996, given lean runs in 1998, 2007ish and the last five years.

@mark_keohane @AllBlacks 359 test matches since the 43-6 walloping of the Wallablies in 1996? Really? Best you count again. And with 30+ games in South Africa alone, there's no way the ABs were favourite in 25 of them. 4 losses in a row and you reckon we were favs against Oz away in 98? Yea nah.

Relative to class, the win from Hi Yo Sass Bomb was a standout o/o the weekend. Speed Rating v's Class +4.8L. Her closing splits, comparable to Listed winner Justaskme. Possible target, Opunake Cup in late July? Would require 1 more win to find herself on the minimum/sweet spot.

@BgpGoat Agree. Though, I was taken by the closing splits from HYSB as it was off a very solid tempo/T600 vs the WFA which unfolded as a crawl & sprint. Justaskme 59kg vs HYSB 54.5, so many variables to take in & weigh up.

@HuntRacing How bout Satisfy, 23 starts as a 2yo, didn't stop him winning the Derby as a 3yo. Sir Ailahtan had 30 starts one season, 25 the next.

Busy season thus far for both Manrico & Deerfield. This weekend will be start no.19 in their respective races, close to a modern day record?
