@MartinSLewis I paid extra every month. Knocked eight years off. Perhaps I could have done it differently but the pleasure of being mortgage free was worth it’s weight in gold and I would probably do the same again.

@H186Mathew @MartinSLewis I had an excel spreadsheet I found somewhere and I used it to see the effects a small amount of extra would have. Started with £30. Then received a letter that dropped my SO by £30 so had an extra £30. Ended up with about 10 extra direct debits of £30.
