Treyarch hasn’t gotten lazy per se, but it seems like there have been a lot of oversights with weapon attachments in Season 04. • The prestige attachment on the KRS-7.62 is just a glorified combination of FMJ Ammo and the Long Barrel that blocks fire mod attachments, and it honestly doesn’t add anything to the weapon. • The CBRS-3 has a Pack-a-Punch effect that overlaps with its prestige attachment, making it effectively worthless in Zombies. • The Lever-Action on the M10 Breacher is compatible with the Quick Load Barrel despite the magazine physically blocking the lever. When reloading from an empty mag, you can even see the lever clip through the magazine. • The prestige attachment on the VX Compact is a 30-round extended fast mag that also provides recoil reduction, which makes the other 30-round mag for the weapon legitimately pointless. @Treyarch @TreyarchCM @CallofDutyCM I notice these things because of how much I care about weapon building in these games. I really do love y’all a lot, but the attention to detail with the new weapons and attachments has been consistently worse.

The original plot for Extinction 2 (as based on the leaked gameplay footage) was about colonizing other planets for humanity to inhabit and have the chance to reclaim earth. Infinite Warfare would have helped a lot to make this sequel a reality, but they scrapped it for Zombies.
