𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 — 𝐈 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 Mainstream coverage often presents one polished narrative. I connect the power dynamics, contradictions, and consequences that usually get softened or ignored. Short posts. Sharp questions. An analytical lens on geopolitics, sanctions, and foreign policy. See the full picture. Then decide.🧭

🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 Both sides say a deal is close, but they're talking about two completely different Strait of Hormuz. The US wants immediate, unrestricted reopening with no tolls. Iran says free passage is over. Foreign Minister Araghchi made it clear: Iran will charge ships "for services rendered," and "management and control of the Strait will no longer be the same." Baghaei added that a signing "cannot be ruled out" in the coming days. Same waterway. Two opposing visions of who will actually control it going forward.🧭

@LeadingReport Another countdown, another round of cautious optimism. We've been 'hours away' so often it's hard to tell if this is the finale or just another preview.

Trump is getting fleeced by Iran The deal: • $24B cash + oil sales • Just 60 days of open Hormuz Iran pockets $30B+ in two months Day 61, Iran can close Hormuz again, and repeat the extortion Massive loss for Trump—Huge win for Iran

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷Multiple sides now say a US-Iran deal is closer than ever➖️ Pakistan claims it could be finalized within 24 hours. Yet major gaps remain on Iran's enriched uranium stockpile, and Iran's Foreign Minister is still urging caution. If the deal includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz (one of the world's most critical shipping routes), why does it still feel so fragile? 🧭

@ProudSocialist They pushed past the barricades in Manila and headed straight for the US Embassy. Thousands of ordinary people, telling American troops to pack up and go. That's a whole mood, and it's loud.

Thousands of protesters breach police barricades in the Philippines as they march on the US Embassy in Manila to condemn US military presence in their country. The protesters demand that all US troops be kicked out and oppose the expansion of US military bases in their country.

@RepThomasMassie Half a grand per vote, and the ads weren't even real. Just AI clips of you in a hotel room with AOC and Ilhan Omar. A foreign‑policy invoice, paid in deepfakes.

$500 per vote. That’s what the Israeli lobby spent to beat me, and they still couldn’t do it with factual ads, or even fake ads based on policy. They ran with personal lies and AI videos to convince elderly voters I was sleeping with Ilhan Omar and AOC at the same time.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀. Iran's minimum wage went from $400/month in 2010 to under $95 in 2026. Not because of mismanagement alone. Because of years of sanctions, currency destruction, and deliberate economic isolation. While politicians in Washington and Brussels talk about "targeting the regime," millions of Iranians have been pushed into poverty. The regime is still standing. The people are not. Sanctions don't just hurt governments. They break societies from the bottom up.🧭

The judge's ruling sends a clear signal: targeting the Israeli military supply chain, even non-violently, will be treated like a national security threat. That protects foreign arms companies legally and punishes activists far more harshly. Smashing an arms factory gets you 20 years. The state calls it terrorism. The activists called it protest against war. The gap between those two labels is where the whole debate now sits. 🧭

Four pro-Palestinian activists receive more than 20 years combined for factory attack —— Four British pro-Palestinian activists received combined prison sentences exceeding 20 years for their involvement in a 2024 raid on a factory run by Israeli 'defense' company Elbit. The attack caused more than £1 million ($1,342,000) in damage, and the judge imposed longer sentences after concluding there was a "terrorism connection." The defendants, Charlotte Head, 30, Samuel Corner, 23, Leona Kamio, 30, and Fatema Zainab Rajwani, 21, belonged to the now-banned group Palestine Action, which coordinated the attack on the Elbit Systems UK facility in Bristol, southwest England, in 2024. In May, all four were convicted of criminal damage at Woolwich Crown Court. Corner was also found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm after prosecutors said he struck a police officer with a sledgehammer. The group had previously been cleared of aggravated burglary charges. Judge Jeremy Johnson stated that it was an "aggravating factor that the offending had a terrorist connection," while also noting that the defendants’ previously clean records were a significant mitigating consideration. Corner received a total sentence of seven years and eight months for his two convictions. The judge found that he had used "extreme and gratuitous" force and ruled that his autism did not account for his decision to swing the sledgehammer. Kamio and Head were each sentenced to five years in prison, while Rajwani received a sentence of four years and eight months for the criminal damage offence. All four will also be subject to an additional year on license following their release.

🇮🇷 🇦🇪 David Miller is right. This isn't simple "protection money" or de-escalation. After failing to topple the Iranian regime through military pressure, the UAE appears to be shifting to economic influence, attempting to shape Iran's elite and political direction from within. A softer form of regime engineering. 🧭
David Miller@Tracking_Power

This mistaken belief also seems to have taken hold in Tehran. In reality, the UAE is not paying Iran 'protection money'. It is trying to buy Iranian politicians and conduct regime change using dollars rather than airstrikes, given the military method failed. Tahnoon bin Zayed is peddling Dubaisation for Iran — a dystopian future that too many Iranian officials have convinced themselves is the promised land.

So let me get this straight: Israel and US couldn’t topple the Iranian regime and now the UAE is paying Tehran to make nice with Khamenei junior.

The gap is telling: Official Iranian statements remain cautious, while media leaks paint a much bigger picture. Are real concessions already moving quietly, or are optimistic reports running ahead of what's actually been agreed? 🧭

Iranian state media, however, reported stronger claims from a draft: quick release of $24 billion in frozen assets and a $300 billion reconstruction plan. The US has pushed back, describing some of these claims as inaccurate and insisting any benefits must be performance-based.
