TL;DR 👇 – BOB uses BitVM to power a trust-minimized Bitcoin bridge, letting users deposit and withdraw BTC from the Hybrid L2 without trusting a third party. – Before BitVM, this wasn’t possible. Most Bitcoin bridges rely on trusted multisigs. – For the first time in Bitcoin’s history, there’s a practical blueprint, co-authored by BOB co-founder @AlexeiZamyatin. HOW IT WORKS BitVM enables off-chain program execution with on-chain dispute resolution. That means: – The L2 verifies Bitcoin – Bitcoin verifies the L2 – Deposits can’t be stolen as long as one honest node exists, even if it’s the depositor.
