by the way, i just signed up for this trading competition on solana. i missed the just concluded tradfi competition on phoenix that had around $10k in prizes. that one lasted 2 days. this one has roughly $19k allocated to top pnl performers. there's also an additional side competition where you can pledge to one of the featured traders and earn extra rewards depending on how they perform. personally, i'm skipping that part. to participate you have to connect your x account and probably dox your wallet, and i'd rather not do that. so i'm just sticking to the pnl side of it. competition ends on the 22nd, so i've got about 3 days to see how high i can climb. let's see how it goes. 👍

so $sol wasn't really cursed, you just needed your favorite kol to start acting like they are bullish again for you to believe in something. that's a little sad. and you'll likely end up top blasting and regretting it again because you have no real conviction. btw longed sol earlier today, i actually closed this position at 2r. not sure why variational doesn't allow you to generate pnl card of closed trade. if it pulls back and doesn't break support i might get in again.

@sam6170 @variational_io @01Exchange juicy. also check btc funding on variational around 8% paid out every 8hrs. if you have a decent short size you could be earning really well. i have short on btc btw.

HYPE funding has been really juicy today. Opened a DN position using @variational_io and @01Exchange to farm funding on $HYPE.. Opened up a short position on variational to farm the positive funding and I opened up a long position on 01 to farm the negative funding. So far, I have accrued 0.5$ in funding on variational and 0.91$ in funding on 01. For now, I do not have the size to actually play funding arbitrage properly but I am trying my best by showing up with the little quid I have. Stay tuned for more updates.. Goodluck!

@jords i personally stopped swapping directly on evm wallets. 2dollar here, 10 dollar there, before you know it you've wasted few hundred bucks or more. i actually wrote about this some fays ago

the main way exchanges make money is by ripping off their users, the same was true with wallets also under HL builder codes it's why doing the same trade on 'advanced mode' saves you like 5% on coinbase/kraken vs the normal interface even the advanced users get ripped off by features that are intentionally gated hyperliquid

@andyyy for how long will those tokens perform? for as long as they keep generating revenue? truth is most of them platforms will be forgotten in months.

There are so many tokens in the top 50 which are going to be replaced by revenue-generating onchain businesses with great token economics and distribution of value back to tokenholders. It's going to happen fast.
