Following a public outcry, a complaint by the boy’s aunt, and involvement of government agencies, Mr. Ken appeared at my office accompanied by sister, Chumi, and others to seek forgiveness regarding abusive actions shared online. He was very remorseful and apologetic for his actions. I clearly informed him that I do not have the authority to forgive, investigate, or pass judgment on such matters, as per the Constitution. I offered counsel, issued a caution, and immediately referred the matter to the relevant authorities for proper investigation and handling. He is currently in police custody for case management.
