Here in India we met a Buddhist nun, Mae Chee Pon. She is the owner of a noodle shop near our school and she looked after Reamonn Gormley like a son when he was with the Thai Tims.

We've yet to meet anyone with Down syndrome on our travels in India. The locals show Berni lots of compassion and the tourist sites let him in for free.

@tamaranorbust @MrChrisEllis If the non profit is run as not for loss then it is sustainable. Our model is to work for the income not continually ask for donations (though those are welcome). We want members to donate time. skills etc and membership is dependent upon fulfilling that commitment.

@Dharmocracy @MrChrisEllis The for profit vs nonprofit dichotomy is flawed. It's an either-or concept that has corrupted charities; I brought this up at a non profit I work with last month. Need a 3rd way. I like #notforloss. Anything but stakeholder capitalism, now the alternative on the table.

CEOs shouldn't have to maximise shareholder profit. As long as they're acting honestly, devaluing assets held is its own corporate treasury should be allowed and even encouraged. Convince me otherwise.
