Very early start to catch the night shift from @EPControlRoom for cuddles before they left & meet the early team. @PBaloo & I got to meet the wonderful lady who was amazing when she helped coordinate our rescue from a live lane of the A12 in august. Very emotional, she saved us🥹

🗣️ “Oh it’s just coursing… haven’t you got worse crimes to deal with…” Today we’ve seen hares / deer pursued & ripped apart, farmers crops destroyed beyond use, land owners gates rammed, dangerous driving, & a family having abuse shouted at them by grown males 🤯 We caught most, but unfortunately not all - 10x males detained & processed, 2x vehicles seized, & dogs in kennels 🚔 A big thanks to members of @CambsWatch who were our eyes & ears today 💪🏽 #RCAT

This years boxes have been sent to : Cat's Protection, Dog's Trust, Essex Wildlife Hospital, Greyhound Dog Rescue, Wallace Dog Rescue.

Officers & staff in the CCC have again been donating to this years 'Christmas Paws'. This is where through donations and fundraising we have managed to send out a number of boxes of food, blankets, toys and treats to animals in local shelters and also to local charities.

Good news for @HertsPolice & will be a loss for us in @EssexPoliceUK but we will wish him well & he has our congratulations & thanks.

NEW INCIDENT #M25 clockwise between J27 (#M11) and J28 (#A12) #Essex LANES CLOSED 2 lanes closed due to a collision. @EPRoadsPolicing, @ECFRS, @EastEnglandAmb and our officers on scene. 45 min delay and 5 miles of congestion.

With help from @NPASSouthEast the occupant was tracked and arrested under suspicion of a number of offences and remains in custody. #ProtectingAndServingEssex **670-09/12**

We continue to deal with vehicle crime as a priority in Essex Police. Yesterday we worked with @Tracker_UK to locate a stolen vehicle in #Blackmore. When officers sighted the vehicle it made off at speed before crashing on a bend and the occupant making off on foot.

Essex units followed the vehicle and managed to stop it in #London safely with the assistance of @MPSRTPC & @NPASLondon . 3 Males arrested under suspicion of robbery. 1 Car seized. #Teamwork *545-11/10 refers*

Our colleagues from @SuffolkPolice made us aware of a vehicle involved in a robbery that was believed to be heading towards #Essex. Staff from our Control Centre completed checks and managed to locate the vehicle and deploy @EPRoadsPolicing officers to its location.

Such sad news... Lottie the Cocker Spaniel 2 Feb 2016 to 3 Oct 2024 Lottie was the much loved family dog of a dear friend to us in the #policefamily All of us will understand the heartbreak they are feeling. Sleep softly dear Lottie 💔❤️🐾 Our thoughts are with Dave B & family
