Maybe this is a hot take but I’m tired of people using the word “tech” to normalize abusing exploits in a game to get an unintentional advantage. Marathon is a slow game by default, the heat system is in place so ur not perma sliding around like in Apex and that’s what the game is balanced around as well. Positioning is key and getting caught in the open can make u lose your loadout which is part of what makes the game really thrilling. Having a get out of jail free card with Thief’s drone cancel stuff is not cool or interesting, it’s an exploit.

I feel like this is overly punishing for people engaging in ranked as their priority, as well as anyone who works weekends who might not have time to ever try cryo archive, let alone anyone who just has prior obligations already planned out? i usually put things on low for competitive visibility but i had to UP my settings to LOWER my cpu usage
