the Flyers just got a better backup goalie and made their previously undersized defense bigger. and it honestly just cost them a 3rd round pick, a back up who was a league worst at times and a player they weren’t playing much

In 2017, Elias Pettersson wasn't really in the conversation as a top 3 pick anywhere and Nolan Patrick was essentially a unanimous top 3 pick everywhere, even with the injury issues and regressing from his D-1 to DY.
