I would really like to see if your small caps are the same as mine lol. 95% clueless participants maybe when stimmy checks hit in 2020 now… idk bout that chief for proof all of the traders struggling in here. I know that “SKilL iSsUe hahaxd” is funny (I guess) but all seasoned traders saying the same but for couple guys MAYBE tells u something about the state of small caps. At the end of the day is still true adapt or die but don’t fucking say this shit is easy like ppl out here pumping trillions out the maket

It's a cope analogy. A table has 10 seats - in small caps there are likely 100's of thousands of seats and 95% of them are clueless and crying on twitta and not "billionaire elite pros." In the long-run, trading has more randomness. The probability distribution in poker is mathematically known (you can calculate exact odds on every hand). The randomness in poker is contained in a closed system w/fixed rules. Macro events, algos, news flow, themes, pumps, people violating SEC laws, and liquidity conditions introduce randomness that has no poker equivalent. You can never know your edge in trading like you can with poker because other players adapt - even if your trade setup worked 100 times in trading, the 101st exists in a fundamentally different environment. Traders are always operating with a degree of uncertainty about whether their edge is real or just fooled from a favorable sample over X time. Poker is harder than trading because the pool is self-selecting and significantly more competitive/a lot smaller, but the randomness in trading is more dangerous because it's harder to measure and easier to mistake for edge.

@Fuckputs It’s been different for sure, or maybe it’s correlated to bigger market correction (I don’t know), but there’s a lot of those rooms that you won’t have visibility on because they’re in a different ecosystem compared to the traders / accounts you interact with on X

@Jordnstm Agreed on the big traders not being on X. Met a few just by pure chance in US and was actually wild to see. Also bout the chat rooms idk man I don’t know any after 2021 that still big might just not know them but really feels that the flow is different post Q2 2025

Sinceramente yo no he terminado de enterarme de lo del core y reciclar. Las pocas veces que lo he intentado, como una semana entera. Me dieron durísimo por todos lados, funcionar funciona claro está. Pero no tengo ni puta idea después de ver a Xavi durante 2/3 semanas enteras prácticamente

@Fuckputs Creo que aun me cabe bastante espacio para hacer un posicion sizing mucho mas polarizado, lastima que los longs que hago sean tan rapidos y en el lado short no haya tanto fade en el que poder construir una idea mas grande
