@KatyBasinger We are open 6 days a week! Techs and office staff work mon-thurs, tues-Friday, or wed-sat so we have full coverage 8-6 six days a week. Managers works 5 8s so they are mostly available the whole week.

I am experimenting with some new shifts for my business partner and I. All of our employees do 4 10s. What’s your preference? 3 12s 4 10s 5 8s 6 6s I’m actually testing out 6 6s for myself right now to be present every day to put out fires and have shorter stretches of deep work.

@pestctrlguy I’m trying to see your logic on what work is needed on Friday & Saturday when your techs aren’t working then. Some Friday admin yes, but why work Saturday ?

I'm a veteran and a small business owner. I want some government contracts. How do I start doing that? I'm signed up on Sam. Gov but I haven't seen any contracts in my local area for my niche.

Everybody hates quickbooks. I get it. What's the all in one alternative? I don't want six different accounts. I want an all in one system.

Employee texts me first thing this morning. Why did my paycheck get split between two accounts? I have no idea you only gave me one account to direct deposit to. Log into your workforce account and see how many accounts you have setup. He has one account in there. Where did the 1/3rd of his paycheck go? Got to wait till 8AM central to get ahold of quickbooks payroll to see if they can figure it out.

I’m helping my brother in law start a pest control company with the intention that we will buy it from him in 4-5 years. Putting together a contract now to not ruin families. Best of luck to both of us.

I quit my job in March to go all in on my business. In April I sent out 264k in quotes and did 24k in revenue, all from inbound. Of that 24k in revenue, 21k was just line striping and 3k was a big sweeping contract. Normally I wouldn't be okay with converting only 10% of quoted revenue, but there was one abnormally large quote of 150k that heavily influenced that number. Backing out that 150k leaves 114k in quotes sent, which is a 20% conversion based on 24k revenue. I'm happy with this given the fact that B2B has a longer sales cycle. I'm working a lot of hours and trying very hard to make sure my business survives so I can support my family. I consider April a success.
