@Tsar_Martyr Give me evidence that you existed yesterday. Won't be able to
English

@Spamfromk Don't get offended at stupid shit and you're in. Literally nothing else to it
English

@Spamfromk People do what benefits them.
If a joke becomes an opportunity for more, people will take it, even if the og intention was different
English

@_andrewthecoder Plenty of high IQers have generally stupid takes.
Follow based on merit
English

Here is a question (or 2) for everyone reading this.
If I tell you that I have an IQ of 150, do you believe me?
Let's examine some stats. If I am telling the truth, it puts me INSIDE the 1% of smartest people on the planet.
BUT considering all of the people that claim to be 160 or higher, how can we even evaluate that?
I could tell you that I am a part of the Prometheus Society. (Imagine that Mensa had a high IQ society). But, that isn't too hard to research.
So, who do you trust? People make claims. How do you decide who you might follow? Who's advice you might take? Let's talk about it.

@hell_line0 Ppl are miserable if they let themselves go regardless. May as well take the motivation
English

Girlfriend: “Why do you always compare me to other women?” Boyfriend: “I’m motivating you.” Girlfriend: “By making me feel insecure?” Boyfriend: “If you cared more, you’d improve.”
A year later… She gets a better job, new friends, starts smiling again.
Boyfriend: “You’ve changed.” Girlfriend: “No. I just stopped shrinking myself to make you comfortable.”
Boyfriend: “So all this because I pushed you?” Girlfriend: “No. Because love shouldn’t feel like constant criticism.”
English

@LisaFenDragon Hah valid.
To clarify by maintenance dates I meant thoughtful lil activities like museum escape room etc
English

@KingPStream If you mean $50 or less for like a regular takeout meal or something, yeah sure
At that point, it's not a date. It's just grabbing some food. Lol
English

@KingPStream That’s why I think it’s important for couples to define and agree on what they consider cheating at some point early in the relationship.
English

If you make not watching porn a boundary in your relationship, and then someone breaks that boundary by watching porn, that is cheating. A betrayal of sexual trust is sexual infidelity.
They knew what they were doing, they knew it would hurt you, and they did it any way. You’re allowed to feel betrayed by that. You’re allowed to make it a dealbreaker.
English

@ARIKAHENRY Start with calculus & Nietzsche, rip off that bandaid early. Why waste time with trash like 3 little pigs , are we stupid?
English

@theramblingfool @Aella_Girl Can say the same about slave ownership
English

@Aella_Girl Counterpoint: a lot of vegetarians are vegetarian because their family is vegetarian and they simply accepted that value as their own.
Which cuts the exact opposite direction.
English

@ZylexIDC @DeeWaynee94 That's true & usually at that point they just induce pregnancy anyways.
Thank you for your answer!
English

@KingPStream @DeeWaynee94 at 32 weeks, the only reason you're aborting is if it's gonna have adverse affects on the mother's life to keep it.
whether it's a person or not, until the baby's at a point where it's safely able to be born, I'd say it's not a person.
English

The language gives the game away.
Conception gets treated like full personhood when laws are being written, then birth suddenly becomes the moment someone “joined the family” when normal life speaks honestly.
Even their own baby announcements keep snitching.
Molly Ploofkins@Mollyploofkins
So not conception?
English

@dystopiangf @RandyTreibel @Hitchslap1 A bit long winded but @8trius is more or less on the nose.
Finding 20 y/o most attractive =/= man will grow bored of you.
Ex most women like 6 ft tall rich men but wind up with 5'9 fun kinda competent dudes.
It's not a tragedy, it's life
English

@RandyTreibel @Hitchslap1 Lol I’m pretty confident in that. I just hate the idea that women become worthless as they age and find it anti-romantic
English

I wouldn't call something a "myth" if women's preferences for greater resources in men is nearly a human universal and is also seen in wealthy women in real life. Something isn't a myth if the only way you can get women to say they don't prefer resources is to ask them put themselves in Stamola, an imaginary place (that could probably never exist) where women make 2x more than men.
Jay Van Bavel, PhD@jayvanbavel
This undercuts a popular myth in the manosphere, where men frequently argue that women are intrinsically attracted to men with resources due to evolution. This argument is a cornerstone of their ideology, often framed as a biological "hardwiring" where women are designed to seek partners with high social status and financial power for security and survival. But their narrative doesn't align with the evidence.
