In today's episode of "SF6 scaling is unintuitive", if you punish with Alex:
DR > st MP > HP chop >> One Wing Angel
it actually does MORE damage than
charge HP > HP chop >> One Wing Angel
(DR > st mp is also faster, for when you don't have time to charge HP or raw HP chop.)

Also, why were Destroy moves removed from Strive? If you got caught with one that was a skill issue. Also, it added a nice flair to the game

I never said GG isn't known for high damage, but the difference in what went into the damage between classic GG and Strive is night and day, saying otherwise is insane

@LinkedChief @SebastianR696 @UNJUSTICE__ Funny to say that, but it shows me you haven't played against Elphelt, Slayer, Johnny, Sin or even Potemkin. With the right ressources every round can become a two-touch round. So yeah, high damage was always the identity of the series and that ain't changing anytime soon

Burst safe offense isn't the problem until it becomes an identity imo

@_BlazingRush @KaneBlueriverCL Wild Assault was never a core mechanic to Strive, it was something they added into the game years after to spark some sort of life into the game along with giving each character new moves (before they stopped halfway and likely just shoved them into 2.0 to make it look better)
