This is why I don’t order skip etc. When I worked in mental health, I had an individual whose partner was a driver admit to me that they would eat a little out of several meals so they didn’t have to buy food. When I asked about the staples, I was told that they slowly removed staples and then had their own stapler to seal back on the same spot. I never ordered again. And yes, the driver was reported for misconduct.

Betty Shabazz, who was there when Malcolm X was killed, raised their 6 daughters, got her doctorate, became a prominent activist, and spent her life protecting his legacy. Elisabeth Elliot stayed in the jungle with the tribe that murdered her husband and kept doing missionary work. Some women are just built different. They throw themselves into their husband’s cause instead of falling apart. It’s called “immersion” and is common in grief. You might not like it, but you don’t matter. That woman will protect and continue her husband’s legacy, no matter how awful you people are.

The WHCD shooter tripped and fell. That's what stopped him. Not the Secret Service. Not the five shots fired at him that all missed. A trip. He was one flight of stairs from the ballroom where Trump, Vance, and the entire Cabinet were seated. And he was stopped by gravity.

Nope, take that with you because the difference is obvious. A beloved family member doing something against you cuts deeper than an enemy doing the same; it only confirms what you expect. Tulsi was an opponent who later aligned with MAGA. That took courage and that's what earned her a place in Trump’s cabinet. Ron wasn’t a rival; MAGA loved him. He shattered that trust at a time we needed to coalesce around Trump. Then, in a particularly spiteful backhand swipe, he branded himself “Trump without the baggage.” It’s still unforgivable.
