When still in Chicago, I remember referring patients to someone as thoughtful as @AlbertLinMD1 - he trained folks now in our program. And, as a non-LAAO implanting physician, I’ve relied upon technically superb and thoughtful partners @MUSC_EP, including @rachelkaplanmd, to manage patients referred for consideration of this procedure. I still see value for LAAO, but high risk bleed+CVA risk patients remain the bulk of referrals to team here. Grateful for ability to trust judgment and abilities of group here for LAAO also including @ChauVoMD @swatirao24 @dhakalbish.
