We have taken a few days to try to process the latest “culling” by the BBC of @BBCSingers and the reductions to the BBC orchestras - really can’t quite fathom why one destroys a jewel of the BBC and diminishes its own reach within in its own organisation and beyond. It’s wrong!

1/2 2 years ago today #TheWorldWasOnceAllMiracle with my #AIDS memorial #Symphony was released by @delphianrecords during @LGBTHM 2021. When writing it for 2015 @bbcproms I had in mind faces/voices of friends I met in early 1990s who were lost to the diseases subsequently.

Hi @HTBChurch, I’m about to rehearse an 83-piece @cinesinfonia in Onslow Square for two sold-out shows at @RoyalAlbertHall tomorrow, and apparently the £2,291.84 the orchestra has paid to hire the venue doesn’t allow for the lights to be turned on… Is this really reasonable?
