@televisualities C sections are not necessary in many of those cases. Women choose that route because....selfish reasons.

Just under 1 in 3 births involve slicing through the woman or girl's abdomen. Through skin, muscle and multiple organs. As many as half of births involve an episiotomy, which is when they take a scalpel and slice a bigger passage for the baby. A vasectomy is a day surgery.
Chadrian@codasetic

@designmom Child birth = natural, not mutilation Vasectomy = unnatural, is mutilation

@MidgeAlison @KBLiveOnTour @JadeK526 Except you haven't answered any of my questions. Why is it better to force a terminally ill newborn, with severe organ and brain defects that are incompatible with a long-term life (or even a life beyond infancy), to be born?

They did tests and determined the babies organs are outside her body. The comments on the Facebook page are still disgusting, saying she's a murderer and not a mother making the best choice for herself.

@MidgeAlison @KBLiveOnTour @JadeK526 So, I might be a bag of shit, but I'm not a zero-braincell individual who is incapable of considering another person's suffering, beyond your own ridiculous, blind dogma. And who probably loves the idea of a newborn suffering , then dying, as long as they're born at all.

@MidgeAlison @KBLiveOnTour @JadeK526 What makes me feel smart and superior, is the fact I can look at this situation, with empathy, with my own real-life experience, and see--this is a decision that must have been excrutiating for the mother to make. And it's for the best, for both the fetus and the mother.

@MandersSnark1 @Kareybean @JadeK526 It's nice that you came up with a reason to excuse that you killed your child. If that gives you peace...Don't put that bullshit on other people tho. You killed your baby. That's it.

@MidgeAlison @Kareybean @JadeK526 Our sons kidneys failed in the womb. We had the choice between not doing anything and the baby dying inside me and carrying a dead fetus until my body expelled it, if it didn't then it would rot and kill me. Or being induced and getting to hold him for the minutes he lasted. STFU

Ok guys, I have a question. Seriously , if you’re married and have all the kids you and your wife agreed to have, why do you not get a vasectomy so she doesn’t have to have a major surgery or take harmful pills to keep from getting pregnant?

@hnynadj That's a value judgement. Killing a human to save them from what you assume will be future suffering. Well, you'd have to kill everyone on Earth if that's your stance.

yeah and even if that was a case it perfectly reasonable to do that. bc it is a humane thing to do
Midge Alison@MidgeAlison

@JadeK526 Just be honest. They don't want an imperfect child who has potential fur health issues. They dont want to suffer. They tell themselves they are being humane. But they are parents, choosing their own feelings.

@MidgeAlison @michellmybell1 Tubals absolutely can and do have effects. Both surgeries have effects duh. The only method that doesn’t hurt anyone’s body is condoms. And that is a least a gentleman can do after his wife bore children and nursed them. I have no patience for men who refuse that.

@AdenPolydoros @KBLiveOnTour @JadeK526 Humanitarian and painless? That's a value judgement and an unknown. Will it sick for them either way? Most likely. No reason to misrepresent though. They are killing their child to avoid their suffering.

@MidgeAlison @KBLiveOnTour @JadeK526 Your responses don't ignore the fact these parents must be going through hell, making this decision. That they are choosing the most humanitarian, painless route, for this fetus, that will not survive beyond a few hours/days?

@MidgeAlison @yaoiforlunch @JadeK526 You know who consulted with doctors? This woman. You know who didn't consult doctors, and decided instead to run their mouth on a topic they plainly know nothing about? You.

@GoddessRetired @michellmybell1 There are other methods of sterilization. And yes, tubal ligation *can* be reversed. Women know their bodies, men don't. Tracking cycles, using a diaphragm, pills, rings, surgeries....so. many. Options.

@MidgeAlison @michellmybell1 Hormones cause huge issues for women. The surgery is quite invasive and can not be reversed. Vasectomy can be reversed. And now they have new technologies about to hit the market. Tubes tied in invasive surgery requiring anesthesia, that can cause even death.

@ruthdelioncourt @ladymidnightxxx -along side his sister who was 100% going to die utero? Because if my sister in law wouldn’t have had it, my nephew wouldn’t be here either, and she would never have gotten the chance to be a mother due to developing an autism disease triggered by pregnancy.

Your baby is not born "sleeping" or "stillbirth".. choosing to terminate the baby for any reason is an abortion and I'm so sick of these people trying to justify any reason for it. Especially at 26 fucking weeks.

@ruthdelioncourt @ladymidnightxxx Probably severe pre-eclampsia. Or eclampsia already. It can kill you and your baby. You don’t both make it. You both die if you can’t get to 34 weeks before birth. I was very fortunate to make it to 34 weeks with my baby. But my blood pressure was sky rocketing.
