As for the Scriptures, more ancient pages or fragments of the Bible have survived by far than any other book from antiquity. As for the Resurrection, the Apostle Paul in I Corinthians 15 says doubters should go talk to the 500 eyewitnesses who saw Jesus post-Resurrection — and since most of them were likely still alive at the time, they could be located to attest to what they saw. There are four different mutually exclusive stories of the Resurrection. Matthew 12:40 specifically says three days and three nights, not parts of two days and only two nights. Christ also said that the end would come within the lifetime of those disciples. It didn't. And remember this is the same guy that promised prayer would work.

Jesus repeatedly told his disciples that he would die and rise from the dead three days later. On the third day after his crucifixion, several women set out for the tomb while it was still dark.
