@kettering_red @LoftusSteve ... no it doesnt. But when it has to verify you or be penalised under UK law it will. Other sites have done this based on location for the Online Safety Act. Reddit does it for UK users based on age, everyone else gets "enter your birthday" we get "provide ID for adult content"

@kettering_red @LoftusSteve Like the online safety act, websites will make use of your location (because they can see the country you connect from) & force you to login/varify if you are from the UK. User generated content technically includes Wikipedia & bird identification sites etc . Huge overreach.

@Thesheepdoctor @JimGamble_INEQE We have all these parental controls built into smart phones, internet providers etc. If parents cared to google before this ban they could limit kids screen time/access. hope this helps.

@JimGamble_INEQE A child can’t drive a car at this age, surely we have to consider smartphones, like cars only legal over a certain age? A simple phone with texting is all that is required for parents to keep in communication with their children.

People are missing an unintended consequence of under-16 app restrictions. Children will still have smartphones. They’ll still have internet access. So, they’ll lie about their age, that’ll pushes them into content not meant for them, and activity may move to browsers, gaming chat, smaller apps and encrypted messaging Risk doesn’t disappear. It just becomes harder to see and manage.

@PolitlcsUK I dont really know how to push back other than the petition an contacting my local MP. It feels Orwellian. Online regulation tools exist if parents want to look for them. 17 year olds being able to vote and join the army but not watch a documentary on youtube. Adults penalised.

I cringe every time i see a female protagonist because I know within minutes the discord will be either shes a sex object, or not hot enough. Personally the cube sticks out way more!

Considering the franchise is inspired by what happened to his first one.

@TaraToTheMax @JayMeW @NateB_Panic The rate on attended appointments is higher (confirmed via app rather than letter with no confirmation). Its also a money saver. Every time a patient opens the app & confirms an appointment it prevents a letter being sent. (you have to open that specific appt letter and confirm)

Anyone has an idea what causes the /reload -> 20fps for the next 10second bug? It happens with 0 addons enabled. It's only happening on one of my characters though. Used to happen on beta all the time too

just to remind you all discord in the UK already does this and within 2 months of the system being in place, the company in charge of the system was hacked and thousands of ID's were leaked. They lie about deleting the photos you send.
